Position Overview: The Sales Intern in a Digital Marketing Agency plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team’s activities, gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic field of digital marketing sales. The intern will assist in client acquisition efforts, learn about digital marketing services, and contribute to the overall success of the sales department.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting: Assist in identifying potential clients through research and data analysis. Contribute to the development of prospect lists and contact databases.

Outreach and Communication: Support the sales team in outreach activities, including cold calling, emails, and social media engagement. Draft and edit communication materials, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Sales Presentations: Assist in the preparation of sales presentations and materials for client meetings. Attend client meetings to observe and learn effective sales techniques.

Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis.

CRM Management: Learn and utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate and updated records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions. Assist in generating reports and analytics for the sales team.

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing documents.

Training and Development: Participate in training sessions to enhance sales skills and knowledge of digital marketing services. Seek feedback and actively engage in the learning process to develop a strong foundation in sales.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a Masters/Bachelor’s degree program in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
